Maggie Salas-Amaro is an award-winning producer, media executive, producer and co host of FIU's successful and long running podcast "Tech Conversations." She is also a mentor to fellows interested in content creations and branding. During her media career, she has worked for some of the world’s most successful brands including Viacom, The Walt Disney Company, NBC Universal, FOX, Hola! TV and Univision. Currently, she leads Canela Kids part of Canela Media the first AVOD for Hispanics in the US and Latin America. In 2023, she was recognized by Cynopsis Media as a Top Women Media Honoree and the Worldwide Women’s Audiovisual Association (WAWA), as an honorary member for her contributions in media.
